Rama Navami

           Rama Navami is celebrated by Hindu people for Lord Rama's birth. and the birthday of Lord Rama is on the 9th day of Shukla Paksha in Chaitra month. On that day people will celebrate the day called Ramanavami. People will do pooja(devotional worship) of Lord Rama. Also, they are sings bhajans, kirtan, etc of Lord Rama. Youngers share the happy ramnavmi wishes messages, ramnavmi greetings, etc to their friends. Ramnavmi is a very important festival of Hindu's so there is a public holiday on that day. all the schools, colleges, banks and most of the businesses have a holiday on that day in respect of ramnavmi.

Family of  Lord Rama:

           King Dashrath is the son of King Aja and Princess Indumati. King Dashrath has three wives Kausalya, Kaikeyi, Sumitra. In three wives of Dashrath, Magadha Kingdom (Kosala) is Pierre of  Kausalya, kekeya Kingdom is Pierre of  Kaikeyi and Kashi is Pierre of Sumitra. Lord Rama is the son of King Dashrath. Lord Rama was born in Ayodhya in Chaitra month. The Mother of the Rama is Kausalya. 

About Lord Rama :

           Lord Rama is known as "Maryada Purushottam Ram".  because they have all the qualities of that name. They never refuse the commandment of their father King Dashrath. He accepted 14-year Vanvas for their father. At that time, there were Dashrath only saw the dream that Ram is in the jungle(forest). and on the second day, Lord ram is decided to went to the forest for 14-year. And another recognition is Kaikeyi told Dashrath that he tells ram that Ram would go in the forest for 14-years So that their son will become the King of the Ayodhya. Ram has three brothers Laxman, Bharat, And Shtrughna. In those four brothers, Ram is elder than others so until he would not go to the forest, Bharat wouldn't be a king. Lord Rama went for the Vanvas with wife Sita and brother Laxman. From childhood, Lord ram was an expert in Dhanush-Vidhya. no one can beat Lord Rama.

           People in India celebrate the ramnavmi full of enjoyment. At some of the places, Ramlila Natak is played. In that natak Ramayan will be performed by actors. some scenes of the Ramayana like Kidnapping of Sita, War of Ram-Ravan.
